Stop the Press! Barbie is on a mission!
It is only natural, that a bright pop of colour such as this can cure a bad case of Mondayitis! As I strolled through my college campus, I felt fresh and colourful and ready to start many hours of intense study *shudders*. I may just need some more neon to get me through this week as next week is mid semester break! Study? I hardly think so, I'm thinking some GTL and lying by the the pool!

If your stuck in a the same midweek hair rut I am in, then here is some hairspiration for your hump day! I call this style, Pony with a Twist, as it is an easy variation on the classic low ponytail!
This style is a lot simpler then it looks, the trick is to separate and section the hair. Start with the top most layer (near the crown of your head) and secure with a hairband. Take a small section of this ponytail and wrap around the band, bobby pin in place. Next, take a second layer of hair (should be around the centre of the head) and repeat step one. Finally include the last layer of hair and tie into a ponytail at the nape of the neck. Take a section of hair from this ponytail to cover the final band. Pressstooo!

Metallics are no stranger to the beauty industry, and this spring they are as prominent as ever! The trend resurfaced in the Fendi 2012 Spring Lookbook, where decadent gold and silver leaves were used to line the model’s eyelids.
To create eyes that pop, sweep gold, silver or bronze shimmer across the eyelid, reaching as high as the brow line. If you are feeling daring why not try a two-tone application, blending a second colour directly under the brow. This look is not complete without multiple lashings of a volumising mascara. Va Va Voom!
